Email me about your project. Tell me what you’re looking for. What kind of music are you making? What is your timeline like? Is it a single? A demo? An EP? An Album? You and I will communicate about what you’re looking for and you’ll send me some music so I can get a sense of what you’re doing and where you are going musically. Send me as much musical detail with an actual scratch track or demo if you can.
Who are your favorite drummers? What style of drumming are you looking for? Are you looking for programmed drums on your track? We’ll talk about musical references (specific producers or tracks or artists) so I can really understand what you need to help you make your music what you envision.
WE BOTH COMMIT TO YOUR PROJECT
Let’s say we decide we want to work together. You’ll make payment for your track or tracks using the “yes, I want a drum track” section of this website, and we’ll agree on the timing.
YOU SEND ME THE FILES
Using we transfer, or a similar method, you’ll email me your scratch track with a separate click track. Your scratch track should have as much detail as possible. For example, I’ve worked with artists who have given me an acoustic guitar and vocal to work from and I’ve been given fully sequenced tracks and asked to replace the programmed drums. As long as you’ve recorded to a click and you include it as a separate track, we’ll be good to go.
I RECORD MY BEST FIRST PASS AND SEND IT TO YOU
I’ll make a rough mix with my drum track and your scratch and send it to you. You’ll listen to what I’ve done and tell me what you like and don’t like. Many times, my clients love my first pass. If not, I’ll record further takes until we get what you want.
WE REVISE AS REQUIRED
I will get you what you want and you approve the drum track. You have a MONEY-BACK GUARANTEE that you will be happy, so there is no risk involved!
I SEND YOU OR YOUR PRODUCER THE PRO TOOLS FILES or WAVs
YOU FINISH YOUR TRACK
